"Full-scale test and evaluation of biodegradable oil [Hydrox Bio 68] in the stern tube have been performed in the
M/S RIGOLETTO since 1999 and on M/S OTELLO since 2000. The favourable outcome of full-scale tests using biodegradable oil for the sterntube has resulted in the decision to use this type of oil for all new buildings, starting with the M/S Undine - a total of 2,600 litres."
Taken from Wallenius Lines' Environmental Report 2003.
Approved for use with sterntube bearings: Sternsafe™ and CYI60LS
