Emulsifiable lubricant formulated to reduce outboard oil leakage
APPLICATION
As a biodegradable, non-toxic, sterntube lubricant used particularly
where excessive outboard oil leakage is being experienced. Suitable for the lubrication of certain designs of stabiliser.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES
- Biodegradable
- Non-toxic to the aquatic environment
- Provides a very high standard of lubrication as supplied or in emulsion form.
- In many cases, the introduction of HYDROX BIO 220, may lead to a considerable reduction in oil leakage in the event of damaged or misaligned sterntube seals. Reductions of 70% and more are normal is these circumstances.
- HYDROX BIO 220 is compatible with HYDROX BIO 68 and can be added gradually by a process of topping up.
