Non-sheen
Vickers KEMEL ST-77 is water soluble and forms no sheen on the surface of seawater.

Biodegradable
Readily biodegradable according to OECD 301C test method, Vickers KEMEL ST-77 was found to be biodegradable.

Toxicity
Vickers KEMEL ST-77 is classified as practically non-toxic to fish according to the OECD 2003 test and slightly toxic to algae according to OECD 2001.
